Due to Eigashimas coastal climate, Akashi whiskies impart a unique briny quality that is especially apparent in the Akashi Single Malt. Aged approximately 5-8 years in ex-Bourbon, sherry, brandy and barley casks, this whisky’s prominent notes of salted caramel and subtle peat boasts a long, buttery finish.
